According to the website of the Ministry of education, the general office of the Ministry of Education recently issued the notice on strengthening the mobile phone management of primary and secondary school students in order to protect students’ eyesight, enable them to concentrate on their study in school, prevent them from indulging in Internet and games, and promote their physical and mental health.
According to the notice, primary and secondary school students are not allowed to bring personal mobile phones into the campus in principle. If there is a real demand, it must be approved by the parents and applied in writing. After entering the school, the mobile phone should be kept by the school, and it is forbidden to be brought into the classroom.
The notice stressed that the school should incorporate the management of mobile phones into the daily management of the school, formulate specific measures, specify the place, method and person in charge of unified custody, and provide necessary custody devices. We should set up a public telephone in the school and a communication hotline for the head teacher to solve the communication needs between students and their parents. It is not allowed to use mobile phones to arrange homework or ask students to use mobile phones to complete homework.
